SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR ROLE(S)
St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic School in Medford, is seeking either one full time or two part-time Guidance Counselors beginning in July 2024 and in place for the 2024-2025 school year, which starts for students on September 3rd. Our school is growing with over 400 students enrolled in PreK-8th Grades. Responsibilities for this position include: supporting students’ social and emotional well being, completing classroom lessons at all grade levels, writing and coordinating accommodation plans for students, leading a student assistance committee, aligning all classroom rosters, and acting as a liaison between 8th grade and high school. The role(s) will also support the school principal with student discipline and meetings with parents. The position is 5 school days a week for a full time employee or 3 days a week each for 2 part time counselors with one day of overlap. Each school day is from 8AM-3:30PM. Ideal candidate(s) will hold a NJ School Counselor certificate, have experience in the area of guidance counseling including extensive knowledge of the various resources available for families, possess good collaborative skills, have 21st century technology skills, and be committed to a Catholic education. Successful candidates will be subject to fingerprinting/background check and will also have to attend Virtus training.

TEACHING ASSISTANT 4TH GRADE PART TIME POSITION
Our school is seeking a part time teaching assistant (25 hours per week) immediately for our 4th Grade classes. Our 4th grade consists of two classes and the Teaching Assistant will split time between both classes. Job responsibilities include assisting the home room teachers by supporting students in the classroom and occasionally providing individual and small group assistance on school assignments. The role also consists of supervising students during lunch and recess.
Candidates should have a commitment to Catholic education and previous experience working with Children is preferred. Successful candidates must pass a fingerprint/background check and take VIRTUS Training.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR MARRIAGE MINISTRIES AND NFP IN THE OFFICE OF EVANGELIZATION & FAMILY LIFE

The Diocese of Trenton is currently accepting applications for the position of Associate Director for Marriage Ministries and NFP in the Office of Evangelization & Family Life. The selected candidate will support and guide marriage, family, and life issues. Additionally, the role entails coordinating and facilitating Pre-Cana ministry in both English and Spanish, conducting Re-marriage retreats, and managing various Natural Family Planning programs.
